Michael's Baseball Cards - From Andrew

Don't let the age of the young gentleman named Andrew fool you, as he is an absolute pro in this wonderful world of cardboard. He is also very professional and doesn't mess around.

That's part of what I love about this hobby. It doesn't matter what age you are. There is always a place for everyone.

Andrew also has all the markings to become a legend in this hobby, if he is not already.

He sent me a very awesome and what I would call a "power package"!  Andrew really poured on heavy with the types of cards that I absolutely love and collect. He was a little unsure what to send me at first, but I can affirm that he sent me a jackpot!!

It's always a good day when I get new Mets cards and especially ones like these that I've never seen in person, until now. I find the David Wright in particular to be the most interesting and the Diamond Tejada looks absolutely stunning. I love me diamond parallels.

I also get to add to my cognac collection, which is filling out nicely thanks to fellow traders that know I like to indulge myself in parallel goodness!!

And finally we get to the GOLD!!!! These shiny cards look outstanding in a new binder filled with Ultra Pro Platinum pages. That is part of why I like them so much.

I don't know where I would be without gold parallels. In fact I think I mention it somewhere that they have a huge impact on me as a collector, dating back to 1993. I want to keep my tradition of gold going for as long as they keep producing them.

Back to the Diamonds where 2011 marked a big year for me as a collector. I have fond memories of pulling them and trying to see how many I acquire. Plus, they look really prestigious so that helps a bunch.

Andrew, I thank you so much for all the great stuff you sent. I assure you that your package will be getting to you shortly. I have it sitting right here in front of me along with 2 other traders that have been waiting on me for a while.

My oldest son is a cancer and stroke survivor. He was treated by Vermont's Children's Hosipital and we couldn't have asked for a better outcome. The nurses, doctor's and staff showed the utmost caliber of professionalism. Their dedicated team was crucial to our son's recovery and survival. He has remained cancer free for over two years now.

Stemming from a 10 year bout with alcoholism, I am proud to say that I am now alcohol free for 4 years running!
