Minis seem to be growing on me more and more. I used to strongly dislike them but now I'm like but they're all small and cute and stuff...The above Morrow is a fine piece. The black border gives it a nice sleek effect.
I'm assuming this is Mike Olt's first appearance on an A&G card and not a bad one, I might add. I don't have much use for this particular card but is quite decent.
Another one that I don't have a particular attachment to is Zobrist from the Rays. It's quite similar to Olt and many others. It's a retro themed trademark, I believe.
Do you see how much space Motte's glove takes up on the card? I thought about starting an "over sized" glove theme where the player's glove seems a bit too large due to close proximity to the camera taking the shot.
As I always say..."Damn, it's the wrong Cabrera."
I had a hard time figuring out what this card was. It turns out it's some kind of Palace. I really need to brush up on my History because I don't remember this in Global Studies. I like the theme however, I just wish that I would have pulled a "stronghold."
What makes a good pack a good pack? When you get players that you collect in it would be my guess. I'm pretty much a Werth magnet so I naturally started collecting his cards. I've featured quite a few of them here on the blog. This is potatoes!
And what goes good with potatoes? The meat of the pack, Mr. Robert Allen Dickey complete with over sized glove!!!
I hope you enjoyed my first and only pack of this years A&G. It's certainly not by choice. Of course if I had it my way, I would have several boxes by now.
Some of you may be happy to know that I switched the comments back to the normal setting (yet again) as most don't seem to be adopting that method as of yet. I'm fine with either way but some find Google + to be invasive. I find it to be a really effective tool overall for any blogger of any kind.
Have a great evening and as always Ta ta for now!!!
